1st XI ground :
route from the east:
Pick up the M62 westbound then M57 northbound or M58 westbound towards the A59 (Switch Island). At Switch Island, take the A567(T) and go straight on through two sets of traffic lights and pass the 'Park Hotel' and golf course on the right. At a roundabout and 'Netherton Hotel', turn left into Netherton Way. Keep on this road (passing the 3rd XI ground and GIRO on the left) for a couple of miles, through roundabouts until you reach traffic lights (A5058 junction) at the 'Mons' pub (far right corner). Turn right and then, keeping to the left, turn left at traffic lights into Hawthorne Road. After a few yards, turn right into Wadham Road. Entrance to the ground is on the right.
OR
Pick up the A580(T) East Lancashire Road and turn right onto the A5058 (Queen's Drive). Go straight on, over a flyover, through lights with 'Mons' pub on the left and, keeping to the left, turn left into Hawthorne Road. After a few yards, turn right into Wadham Road. Entrance to the ground is on the right.
route from the south and North Wales:
Pick up the M53 towards and into the Wallasey Tunnel, (£1.20 toll payable on entry). On exit, pull over to the left and go up the slip road which swings left. A road joins from the right at the top. Go straight on for a short distance and then fork left at traffic lights. You are now on Stanley Road. Go straight on for half a mile and through a slanting junction with traffic lights (Commercial Road/Melville Road) - pub on left. Go straight on and after more lights, turn right into Wadham Road. The ground is half way up on the left.
3rd XI ground:
3rd Eleven Ground: Hillside, Stuart Road, Bootle.
Route from the east:
Pick up the M62 westbound then M57 northbound or M58 westbound

At a roundabout and ‘Netherton Hotel’ turn left past the Giro, over the bridge turn right into Bailey Drive, at the next roundabout the road becomes Southport Road stay on the dual carriageway through two roundabouts. After the second roundabout 200 yards turn left into Maguire Avenue playing fields on the right. Turn right into Stuart Road Entrance on right before HillsideHigh School.
OR
Pick up the A580 (T) East Lancashire Road and turn right onto the A5058 (Queen’s Drive). Go straight on over a flyover turn right at traffic lights on to dual carriageway, Southport Road, About 400 yards turn right into Maguire Avenue. Go to the end of the Avenue and turn right into Stuart Road. Entrance at the top of Stuart Road Entrance on the right.
Route from Wirral and North Wales: Pick up the M53 towards and into the Wallasey Tunnel, on exit pull over to the left and go up the slip road which swings left. A road joins from the right at the top. Go straight on for a short distance and fork left at the traffic lights You are now on Stanley Road. Stay on Stanley Road about a mile to Merton Road ‘Merton Pub on the right. Turn right into Merton Road. At the island ChristChurch facing you keep left past the church stay on this road until you cannot go any further. Turn left into Southport Road, dual carriageway. T urn right about 300 yards into Maguire Avenue. At the end of Maguire Avenue turn right into Stuart Road. Entrance on the right near the top.
